Dear Patients and Colleagues,

Happy Holidays! 2004 has been such an exciting and eventful year in our practice. Our office renovations are now completed. Not only do our offices look better, we have added advanced digital x-ray technology, new staff members and two babies into our dental family. In addition, our practice has continued to grow tremendously in recent years thanks to your confidence and the kind referral of your family members, friends and colleagues. These new patient referrals are the greatest compliment you can make, and we are extremely grateful for your continued trust. We want to thank everyone, especially our wonderful patients, for being supportive of our practice, our doctors and our staff.

In December 2003, we introduced low-dose Digital Radiography to both of our offices to improve patient care. Digital x-rays are being done electronically, capturing your x-rays on a computer almost instantaneously with up to 80% less radiation! In addition, we can optimize the brightness and contrast and enlarge images to enhance x-ray interpretation. The end result is that our patients can comfortably have routine x-rays to detect dental problems early on to avoid more serious conditions from developing.

As you may have noticed, we have been fortunate enough to welcome some new faces and wonderful personalities to our staff. We have two new full-time dental assistants. In Walnut Creek, Noriko Yasuhara joined our practice as a Registered Dental Assistant. In San Francisco, our new Dental Assistant is Gina Zervogiannis. Both women are assets to our practice. They are both extremely dedicated professionals who work hard to make your dental experience safe, efficient and comfortable.

We were also pleased to welcome one baby boy and one baby girl into our dental family! Dr. Keith and his wife Lori had Little Cameron in March 2003. Our WC receptionist Kimberly welcomed her second baby girl, Gianna, in February 2004.

With 2005 on the horizon, the future continues to look bright. We will continue to bring you the latest advances in dental services to enhance your oral health experience. Dr. Keith and Dr. Chao will work to increase availability in both offices to include Friday appointments in both Walnut Creek and San Francisco! In response to increased demand, we are also expanding our hygiene services in the Walnut Creek office to offer more days of service.
